It took me a few years to actually get around to make these after I discovered them. No, rather, this is the recipe that inspired my love for dessert blogs as a reader. Related Recipes: Sugar Cookie Truffles Oreo Truffles Peanut Butter Truffles Ingredients for Basic Cake Ball Truffle Recipe • 1 box cake mix • 1 cup water • 1/3 cup oil • 3 eggs • 1 container (12 oz) store-bought frosting (like Duncan Hines, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker) • 1 bag (14 to 16 oz) candy melts Directions Make a cake for the filling. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13×9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Make the cake mix as directed on box, using the eggs, oil, and water. Pour into prepared pan. Bake as directed on box.
