This easy Fresh Strawberry Quick Bread is just phenomenal! I could not think of anything else but a super easy quick bread swirled with fresh strawberries baked to caramelized perfection for you all this time of the year! Flour, sugar, an egg, milk, shortening, vanilla, baking powder, salt, and strawberries! Sounds like things you might actually have at home, right? Now go get baking!!! Continue to Content Fresh Strawberry Muffin Bread Yield: 9 servings Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 50 minutes Total Time: 1 hour Print Ingredients 2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1⁄2 teaspoon salt 1⁄4 cup shortening 1 egg 1 cup milk 1 cup strawberries, finely chopped Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening, and mix well. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Fold into flour mixture. Fold in strawberries. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean when inserted with a knife. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
