It’s packed with protein from peanut butter and Greek yogurt and sweetened with honey! And if you’re a Greek yogurt hater (like me), no worries– you can’t even tell there’s Greek yogurt in there! It’s just thick and creamy and delicious. And HEALTHY! Y’all. This dip is a STAPLE in my diet. I literally eat it every single day, and I never feel bad about it! It’s packed with protein and tastes like dessert. A win-win if I ever saw one! And I don’t mean it’s like kind of good for healthy food. I mean… I could (uh… and do) eat this with a spoon instead of ice cream. I try not to eat it more than twice a day (it’s still got calories, people– no way around that!), but I sure look forward to it!! It’s maybe even more addicting than my mom’s peanut butter granola… which is basically crack. So…. Anyway. Let’s break this recipe down… although it won’t take long, because it’s super simple: All that goes into this amazing dip is: 1 part Greek yogurt (I like vanilla), 1 part peanut butter (I always use homemade), and 1/2 part honey. That’s it! And you can either make a big batch to keep in the refrigerator (which is what I do), or you can just make a single serving in a small bowl. I know that some of you are Greek yogurt haters. And trust me, I get that. I have a really hard time eating the stuff, honestly. But I promise, this doesn’t taste like Greek yogurt. And it’s actually way better (and has WAY more protein) when you use Greek yogurt to make it over just regular yogurt. I’ve tried it both ways, and the creaminess that the Greek yogurt gives this dip just puts it over the top. I promise. Chobani sent me a big box of their Greek yogurt a while back, and, frankly, I didn’t have high hopes for it. I thought about trying to bake with it, because I’ve heard that it makes your baked goods super moist and yummy. But I actually never got around to baking with it… because for some reason, I decided to whip up this dip instead! And used up ALL of the yogurt in my massive PB Apple Dip consumption. Chobani is not sponsoring this post. Like… at all. They sent me the samples about a month ago, but I haven’t been in communication with them since then. Having said that– I’ve tried Greek yogurt on several occasions, and was always SUPER grossed out by it. But I have to admit: I think Chobani’s vanilla-flavored yogurt changed my mind. It’s seriously so good. The reason I mention that is because Chobani vanilla is the only yogurt I’ve used in the making of this dip. I’m kind of scared to try another brand! So keep that in mind when you’re whipping this up– I think the brand name actually matters here! You guys are going to LOVE this dip. Seriously. And then you’ll feel all full of energy and stuff from the protein ๐ …right? …I think that’s what protein does? Wait– who cares? It tastes like dessert ๐ Peanut Butter Apple Dip Tips I like to store this dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator. That way, it’s always ready to go when I am!If you’re making a single serving, mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. This dip is best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, they will last in the refrigerator for a few days. Peanut Butter Apple Dip FAQ Can I use a different brand of Greek yogurt? Yes, you can use a different brand of Greek yogurt. How can you go wrong with peanut butter and Greek yogurt? I’m in love! I make an apple dip really similar to this. It also has cinnamon in it!. http://www.littledairyontheprairie.com/creamy-peanut-butter-apple-dip/ Reply
You should try Fage Fruyo Vanilla Greek Yogurt! It’s the only Greek Yogurt I’ve actually enjoyed… so thick and creamy, with vanilla beans and everything! I eat it instead of ice cream. It’s SO delicious. This dip looks great! On apples- delicious! Reply

I love that this recipe is so simple, yet so healthy. Seems like the perfect thing to eat at breakfast (or anytime, really) with apple slices, or spread on top of whole grain toast. I can’t wait to try this out for myself! Reply
My husband will LOVE you for this dip – he doesn’t like cream cheese so he can never find an apple dip he likes. Pinnin! Reply
There is something to be said for Chobani…it is my choice of yogurt every time! This dip sounds fantastic…and it’s healthy so I can eat lots right? ๐ Reply
This sounds super yummy! I do a similar mixture that’s not quite as sweet. I mix approximately 6 ounces of plain Greek yogurt with one tablespoon of almond butter. I dip my apple slices in that for a snack practically every day! It’s highly addicting. I feel deprived on the days I don’t have it, haha! Reply
I was always seriously grossed out by greek yogurt too-I did not like the choibani ..I tried Light and Fit Greek Yogurt Blends and they’re really good!! The vanilla and banana creme are my fav. Reply
If you’re a PB&J kinda gal, I do the same for desserts–except I swirl in jelly with my PB and honey! It tastes JUST LIKE FROZEN YOGURT plus your childhood in a bowl. And it’s totally spoonable as well. Love the mind-meld going on here–cheers! Reply
Oh, my! This DOES look yummy! The perfect way to enhance the ol’ apple snack. Love your blog, Ashton! Pinning to group boards at Pinterest! xo Reply
Just made this and OMG! Delish! It almost has a carmely taste to it! Thank you so much for sharing! I think this will become a staple in my kitchen too! Reply
Sounds good, but not to lose weight. Sugar packed! Only plain yogurt is healthy for you. Sugar turns to fat when processed in your body. Reply
Have you tried making this with peanut butter powder, like PB 2? Wondering what the exchange would be, but would certainly be even higher in protien! ๐ Reply
I’ve tried it, and occasionally I’ll eat it just to save myself some calories. But it’s not NEARLY as delicious as this! Reply
I cannot believe HOW GOOD THIS IS! I added some in my steel cut oats and was nearly drooling. Thank you for introducing this into my life!!!!! Reply
No, but you could plug in the ingredients to caloriecount.about.com ๐ The nutrition will vary, of course, depending on how much of each ingredient you choose to put in. This is the ratio I like, but it could be different for everyone! Reply
So I’m a little late to the party discovering this but oh my am I excited to try this!!! Yummmm! Do you think I could use PB2 instead of regular peanut butter? Reply
this meal is not healthy by no means.. once in a while for protein is fine, but everyday? no way. there are so many calories in all 3 of these ingredients. Reply
Health and nutrition is about so much more than calories!!! And portion control is definitely in order for this particular recipe, but that doesn’t make it any less healthy ๐ Reply
This sounds really yummy! You should try Zoi honey or vanilla Yogurt. That’s my go to breakfast food. I bet it would be awesome With your peanut butter granola! Reply
I usually have this twice a day too, it is so unbelievably addicting. I also have tried it with bananas and banana chips, which are both delicious. Reply
