Is dinner not making itself? Have you lost the will to wipe that sticky spot off the kitchen floor for the 13th time today? Do you find that yoga pants have become a suitable replacement for anything denim? Is it difficult to recall the last time anything besides Dinosaur Train appeared so regularly on your television? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, these brownies are right for you. So go ahead! Toss a towel over that sticky spot on the floor, and assume that the laundry will get clean… somehow. Heat up the oven and bake up a batch of these problem-solving bad boys. Reese’s cups, your favorite brownie recipe (even if it’s from a box!), and a thick layer of hot fudge and peanut butter up on top are a sure-fire guarantee to end all of your troubles. Like… all of them. Probably forever. Continue to Content Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Reese’s Brownies Yield: 9 Print Ingredients 16 miniature Reese's Cups 1 recipe your favorite prepared brownie batter (see my recipe here)* 12 ounce jar Hershey's Hot Fudge Sauce 1/2 cup peanut butter (any), divided Instructions Preheat oven according to brownie recipe (on the box or otherwise). Line an 8x8 baking dish with foil or parchment and spray with a non-stick cooking spray. Line the baking dish with the (unwrapped) Reese's cups, 4 rows of 4. Pour the batter over the Reese's cups. GENTLY spread out evenly, trying not to move the Reese's cups too much. Bake according to brownie recipe (on box or otherwise). Once brownies are done... Put the hot fudge sauce and 1/4 cup peanut butter in a small microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until sauce and peanut butter are melted enough to easily mix. Stir until combined. Pour evenly over the brownies. Heat the remaining (1/4 cup) peanut butter until melted. Drizzle over the hot fudge-peanut butter layer. Swirl with a knife. Serve warm (will be messy, but totally worth it with ice cream!) or let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving. Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Notes *While I love my Fudgy Chocolate Chunk Brownies, I actually used a Duncan Hines brownie mix for this particular batch and loved it (as always)! Don’t miss a bite!
