That after 3 kids, it really doesn’t matter how many more you have. You don’t even notice the added chaos. I think I had my 3rd kid this weekend. A big, fat 20 lb kid. I have Emma, of course (the only actual human child in this whole scenario). And then I have Something Swanky, my second baby. And then I have Online BlogCon. And that one is my 3rd, big baby. A big, big baby. Whew! The chaos that has ensued as a result of that third child literally knocked me off of my feet for a few days, and I’m just now resurfacing. So sorry to have been so neglectful of your comments and emails lately, I really am. And I’ll be better soon. Just give me a week to recover from labor and delivery. We get that with blog babies right? A little maternity leave? Ok, ok, maybe not 🙂 Anyway. To make up for the shameful sloppiness around here lately, I’ve made my 1st or 2nd favorite fall dessert for you today. I can’t choose between this and the Pumpkin Fudge with Nutella and Fluff Swirl, so they’re both 1st or 2nd. Depends on the moment, I guess. In accordance with my obsession of all things Pumpkin Hershey Kisses, I’ve replaced the chocolate and peanut butter in the classic Muddy Buddy recipe with Pumpkin Kisses and butter, and I’ve replaced the Rice Chex with Cinnamon Chex cereal (omg). You will love, love, love it! (well.. if you love pumpkin and cinnamon, and the taste of pure fall having a party in your mouth!) Continue to Content Pumpkin Pie Muddy Buddies Print Ingredients 9 cups Cinnamon Chex Cereal 1 cup Pumpkin Pie Hershey Kisses (or any combination* of chocolate, to equal 1 cup) 1/2 cup cream cheese canned frosting 1/4 cup butter 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar Instructions In a large microwave safe bowl, microwave the hershey kisses, cream cheese frosting, and butter together in 30 second increments, until smooth and melted. Mix in the vanilla. Using a rubber spatula, gently mix in the chex cereal 2 cups at a time, until all the cereal is completely coated. Place the powdered sugar in a gallon sized zip top bag. Spoon the cereal mixture into it. Seal it and shake well to coat all of the cereal. Pour and store the coated cereal into an airtight container (I usually just leave it in the bag). *I've also tried this with 3/4 cup pumpkin kisses and 1/4 c. butterscotch chips-- awesome!

Every single time I see all these amazing pumpkin kiss-using recipes, my heart breaks a little. I cannot find them anywhere up here in the middle of nowhere upstate NY. I cannot wait to be back in civilization. My poor family is going to live on pumpkin kisses 2 years from now! LOL Reply
The kisses and the chocolate are one and the same. You need 1 cup of chocolate to melt in step one. You can use Pumpkin Kisses like I did, OR you can use a combination of Pumpkin Kisses and another chocolate– like butterscotch chips, or white chocolate. I’ve used both in combination with the pumpkin kisses before and they’re great 🙂 Reply

this sounds amazing, I Love anything pumpkin!!! Only thing, I can’t find the pumpkin kisses ANYWHERE! I even tried chocolate chips with pumpkin but yeah.. that didn’t work so well. Any alternative ideas, since pumpkin kisses are no where to be found?! I would seriously LOVE TO make this! Reply
hmmm…. my only thought would be to mix in some pumpkin instant pudding mix into white chocolate. You’ll have to hurry to go find some though, I bet they’re about to sell out for the season! It’s such a shame that not everyone can get to those kisses!! Reply
Try cutting down (or eliminating altogether) the canned frosting! I moved this year a more humid climate, and I’ve found that the canned frosting doesn’t do as well in these mixes as it did when I lived at other elevations/drier climates. Reply
These were so yummy. But, mine are not nice and white like the picture. More like light brown goo. But good goo. Did I do oak ethnic wrong? Reply
Hm….. that certainly is interesting! I’m not quite sure! The only thing I can think of would be to increase the amount of powdered sugar you use to coat the chex mix..? I hope that’s an easy fix for you! Reply
