You’ve heard of cookie dough dip and brownie batter dip, now get ready to dive face first into a bowl of your new favorite: blondie batter dip. Creamy, rich, and sinfully delicious with pretzels. Hey hey! Today we’re pulling a recipe from waaaaaaaaay back in the archives. And, actually, we’re going to be doing that a lot in 2016. One of my goals for this year is to work through ALL of my posts (all 1,185 of them) are updated with fresh photos, reformatted text, and clearly worded recipe instructions. I’m even planning to re-vamp my old recipes. This blog has been a learning experience in the kitchen for me, and I’ve grown a lot as a baker and recipe developer. For one, I no longer use margarine. EVER. And I’ve also learned why it’s sometimes necessary to sift the dry ingredients before adding them to the wet. And how to use a candy thermometer. And the difference between baking soda and baking powder. Oh yes. This baking novice has come a long way since Something Swanky’s humble beginnings nearly 6 years ago, and I’m very eager to improve upon the work I did way back then. I had some great ideas for recipes, but they really could have used a little more development and tweaking. I’m really thrilled to finally be doing that, and I think this recipe is a super fantastic one to start with! One of the most popular recipes on my blog is Brownie Batter Dip. It’s an oldie too that I’ve updated since original publishing. It was an immediate hit with my readers (understandably, I mean it’s edible BROWNIE BATTER), and it inspired me to try making a blondie version of the dip. And wowza. It.is.GOOD. If you’re a blondie lover, you are going to go nuts over this dip full of buttery, brown sugary rich notes. Adding a pinch of sea salt really brings out those deliciously luscious flavors, and it’s smooth and creamy to boot! Just like blondies, the beauty of this dip is that you can customize it any way you please. Add sprinkles, chocolate chips, white chips, butterscotch chips, or (my personal favorite) M&MS! I love serving sweet dips like this with pretzels for that sweet & salty vibe, but this would be great with fruit or graham crackers (or a spoon) too! Enjoy 🙂 And be sure to tag me @somethingswanky on Instagram so I can see all of your yummy Something Swanky baking adventures! I made the original cookie dough dip for a baby shower and literally had to move it to the garage (extra fridge out there) to keep it out of sight, out of mind. It was a HUGE hit. Your press and fill cups was how I started following your blog, genius I tell ya. these look delicious, now there is a new reason to have a party-lots of dip! =0)

Blondies happen to be one of my all time favorites!! You are an evil genius for coming up with this one. Evil because I know exactly where that dip is going if I even dare to make it and sample it:-) And cutting out cookies is not one of my favs, so I usually throw it in a bar pan…love the mini cup idea though!!!
