Is anyone all chocolate-d out from Valentine’s Day??

I, for one, had a stomach bug and feel like I totally missed out on the chocolates and candy and fancy dinner thing. So I’m making up for it today with these No Bake Reese’s Bars! Seriously… these are just like biting into a Reese’s cup– but with a much higher peanut butter to chocolate ratio. Which I adore.

For me, even though I love peanut butter, it always, always needs a partner. I can’t do straight up PB… just no. It makes me feel like my mouth is stuck together and no amount of milk will ever quench my thirst.

So in my house, you’ll never find peanut butter on its own in anything. What you will find are some delicious peanut butter combos like Scotcheroo Banana Bread (pb + butterscotch), Peanut Butter Candy Corn Cookies (mmmmmmmm), and Fluffer Nutter Stuffer Oreos (is there anything better than peanut butter and Oreos???).

I know everyone in the world is all like, “I could just eat peanut butter right out of the jar!” But that is SO not me. So… you know. Expect chocolate with the PB when you’re in my neck of the internet.

I love the secret ingredient in these bars as much as I love the peanut butter and chocolate– GRAHAM CRACKERS.

I know, right?

Who knew graham crackers would be the key to achieving the optimal middle-of-a-Reese’s-cup texture? It turns out, they make the perfect texture for these bars. You know how a Reese’s cup center is just the tiniest bit grainy? That’s what graham cracker crumbs do here.

So let’s talk about the rest of the ingredients here. There are only FIVE simple things you’ll need from your kitchen. And I bet you already have them on hand.

Creamy peanut butter. Obviously.

Powdered sugar.

Butter.

Melted milk chocolate (or semi-sweet).

And the graham crackers.

Mix it all up, press it in a pan, and smother it in the melted chocolate. Easy peasy, right?
