Epiphanie Hand Bags, finally a stylish solution for camera carrying! @epiphaniebags | review at somethingswanky.com

A few years ago, when I started my first attempts at “serious” blogging, my husband and I went out and bought our first DSLR camera. We bought a little black bag for it, with a hideous neon orange protective liner.

At first, we took the camera with us everywhere. We didn’t want to miss capturing a moment with our new camera! But as the months went by, a few problems cropped up…

1) OMG. It was yet another bag/item to carry around with me! There were lots of times that I thought, Oh, this is probably a camera-worthy event. I’ll go grab the camera! Only to realize, as I’m heading towards the door, that I am too overburdened with bags to bring another one! So the camera would be left at home, and any pictures of they day’s event would be on our phones (yuck).

2) As my blogging career started to take off, I became more and more protective of the equipment I use on a daily basis (obviously)! To damage my laptop or DSLR would be absolutely devastating and could realistically put a major damper on my income. Sometimes I didn’t have any choice but to bring my laptop places, but it would always stay in a neoprene case in my arms while in transit (and in case you’re wondering… my upper body strength is quite poor, so this was a struggle some days). And forget about the DSLR. That thing never left the “shoot room.” Ever.

3) Um, hello? My orange-y DSLR bag was disgusting looking. So… no. I never took it with me anywhere.

Epiphanie Camera/Laptop bags are super functional and gorgeous! I have been dying over their collection for a couple of years now, and I was super excited to have an opportunity to officially review them!

I love that I can carry around my camera again and know that it is totally protected.

But you know what I love even more? That I can carry around my camera annnnnnnd my laptop, both protected by ultra-soft, padded lining. Big, big, BIG gold stars from me for that! I seriously keep my laptop with me almost all of the time now (workaholic? Sure.), and I’m so grateful that I’m not beside myself worrying every time the bag shifts in the car or when my husband sets it down on the ground just a little too gruffly.

And see those interior dividers? Velcro keeps them in place! Which means you can move them around and rearrange your bag however works best for you! As you can see, I’ve been using mine for toting much more than just my electronics! (Never in a million years would I have put a sippy cup next to my camera before this bag).

  2. I have been looking at these bags for quite sometime now. I know exactly what you are talking about. I have to carry 2 different bags because the one I carry my camera in, will only carry the camera. I adore these bags!!
